Frappe HR Documentation for Texagon ERP

Welcome to the Frappe HR documentation for Texagon ERP. This guide will help employees navigate the HR module within the Texagon ERP system (accessible at erp.texagon.io).

1. Logging into the System

  1. Open your browser and navigate to erp.texagon.io.
  2. Enter your login credentials (Username and Password).
  3. Click Login to access the dashboard.

2. Checking In and Checking Out

Employees must check in and check out using the ERP system, as this will be responsible for recording your attendance:

  1. Go to HR > Shift & Attendance > Employee Checkin.
  2. Click Add Employee Checkin
  3. Change Logtype to Check-in when you start your work.
  4. Change Logtype to Check-out when you finish your work.
  5. Click Fetch Geolocation and click Save
  6. Your attendance record will be updated automatically after a while.

3. Creating a Leave Request

To apply for leave:

  1. Navigate to HR > Leaves > Leaves Application.
  2. Click on Add Leave Application.
  3. Select the leave type (e.g., Casual Leave, Sick Leave, Leave without Pay).
  4. Choose the start and end date of your leave.
  5. Add any relevant notes (optional).
  6. Click Submit for approval.

Once submitted, the leave request will be sent to your manager for approval.

4. Viewing Attendance Records

Employees can review their attendance records by:

  1. Going to HR > Shift & Attendance > Attendance.
  2. Searching for their attendance records by entering their name or employee ID.
  3. Viewing their attendance status (Present, Absent, Half-day, or Work-from-home).

5. Viewing Payslips

To view and download payslips:

  1. Navigate to Payroll > Salary Slip.
  2. Locate the payslip for the desired month.
  3. Click View to see the breakdown of salary, deductions, and net pay.
  4. Click Download to save a copy of your payslip.

6. User Profile vs. Employee Profile

  • User Profile: This is linked to system access and permissions. It includes login credentials, email ID, and role-based access controls. Users
  • Employee Profile: This contains personal and job-related details, such as designation, department, salary, and contact information. HR > Employee

7. Updating Employee Profile Information

To update your employee profile:

  1. Navigate to HR > Employee.
  2. Click on your profile.
  3. Update necessary details, including:
    • Personal Information (Name, Date of Birth, Contact Details)
    • Bank Details (For Salary Processing)
    • Emergency Contact Information
  4. Click Save to update your information.
